RECIPE FOR SUCCESS (THE STORY OF THE MOIMOI THAT COOKED ITSELF)

There was once a powerful, mad king in a land far far away. His subjects feared him; he could get whatever he wanted and if for whatever reason his subjects couldn't make it happen at the time he chose, they'd lose their head. One time he commanded a subject of his to write a recipe for cooking moimoi in 10 minutes. The subject came up with something to save his neck. The King was happy. Everybody was happy.

One day the mad king felt like eating moimoi, so he told his cook to prepare moimoi for him in 10 minutes, there were no pressure cookers back then so the cook failed. His head was chopped off, of course. He summoned all the cooks in the land and they too couldn't deliver. Their heads were chopped off. One by one, everybody failed. Frustrated, he chopped everybody's head but one last man.

He told the last man standing to place all the ingredients for the moimoi in front of him. thereafter, he commanded him to set the fire and the pot down. He then commanded the last man standing to cook moimoi for him in 10 minutes, the man took his own life by himself.

Now, the king was alone with moimoi ingredients in front of him, a pot, a set fire,an empty kingdom and an empty stomach. He had no choice but to cook the moimoi. He knew how to cook moimoi, he had read about it. So, he decided he was going to cook his moimoi in 10 minutes by himself.

He made up his mind , he stood up but then he remembered he was a king. He could never bend, squat, or touch a pot. He would rather die than debase himself. No king before him had ever touched a pot. That was for the peasants, the low-lifes, the nonentities! Never!

That was how the mad king sat on  his throne and refused to cook the moimoi that made him slaughter his entire kingdom because he was too proud to touch the cooking pot. He starved to death of course.

MORAL LESSON: Moimoi can't/won't cook itself.

Somebody's got to do the dirty job to kick off and sustain your career. It might as well be you. You must be ready to take responsibility for your career if you want to succeed as a gospel artiste. Even God has given you responsibility for your own success.

...It is He(God) who gives you power to make wealth...

"Make" is a verb. It's an action word. He has given you power to take the action required to be wealthy. He hasn't given you wealth on a platter of gold.

Take responsibility for your career today and stop blaming the pastor you served for 28 years. Who forced you to stay there? Pastor can not put your interest above his own blood children's interest. It is what it is. Look up to God and take responsibility for your career today!
